New Show in Long Island City-Queens, New York
I have a large landscape painting in the show, A Sense of Place. It is a two venue show at the Holiday Inn Manhattan View and at the Space Realty Group which is right across the street. My painting is in the Space Realty Gallery-- a pleasant open office with walls lavishly covered with art. The show is up Sept 9 to December 26, 2011. Opening reception is October 20, 6-8 PM.
PS122 Yarn Theory
I am one of the guerrilla artists who adorned the outside of the gallery for the Yarn Theory show, a playful show having to do with mathematics, science, knitting, and crochet, showing April-May 2009.
A Very Remarkable book
I am one of 48 artists who participated in two indeed remarkable artists' books, a collaborative project conceived and realized by Robin Ross. You can go to her website, www.robinross.com. Look under the Books section for A Very Remarkable Book and Remarked Upon book, excellently documented. For each book, an old painting was cut up into "pages"; each artist then created something new from the fragmented painting, and each new page was partnered with two other artists' work and assembled into a book. The 2 books were shown at Freebird Books in Brooklyn, NY.
PS122 show extended
"Confabulator" has been extended to a second month. The two person show in the main gallery has changed, opening Saturday March 28, but our piece in the project space remains through April 19.
